Joshua Rich

About Joshua:

Joshua Rich is a self-taught pianist, originally from New England, who has been composing, performing and teaching music, voice and musical theatre for over 30 years. Having recently relocated rom New York City, Joshua has experience on and off Broadway as an accompanist, music director, playwright, teaching artist and actor. He has created and run his own after-school theatre arts companies, in-school playwriting and musical theatre residencies and, as a recording artist, has released numerous original CDs of solo piano, children’s music and pop.

Teaching philosophy:

Joshua offers an innate, student-led approach that allows aspiring performers to find their own unique style while learning sound technique and skills.  He loves to see students grow and discover at their own pace, while being led in a nurturing and empowering manner!
