Bella Cox

Bella is a lifelong musician, educator, and award-winning performer based in Richmond, Virginia. She holds a Bachelor's in Vocal/Choral Music Education and a Certificate in Disability Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University, and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy at CU Boulder. Bella also holds a valid K–12 Music Teaching License in Virginia. With experience teaching students ages 6 to 45, Bella welcomes all levels, from complete beginners who’ve never seen sheet music to advanced singers looking to take their technique to the next level. Her teaching combines high musical standards with a fun, supportive environment where students can explore the music they love.

 

Bella has experience in nearly every vocal style, including classical, musical theater, pop, jazz, country, and even metal. She is especially passionate about vocal pedagogy and helping every student discover their healthiest, most expressive sound. In addition to teaching, Bella is an active performer who regularly appears in operas, musicals, and choirs. Her love for the stage fuels her teaching, bringing energy, expertise, and real-world insight into every lesson.
